PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Pharmacy Technicians are trained healthcare professionals who work in both hospitals and retail pharmacies under the supervision of a pharmacist. The course prepares you for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. You will earn the prestigious Board Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) status after you are done with this course and pass the PTCB Licensing examination. With PTCB Licensure, you are definitely able to secure employment positions in Top Hospitals, Pharmacy stores, Billing and Insurance offices. Since 2012, only PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technicians are hired in hospitals across the US.

Admissions Requirements
  • Be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language;
  • Be a minimum of 17 years of age; or, if under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign the enrollment application. Additionally, the applicant must turn 18 prior to entering externship, if applicable.
  • Interview with counselor.
  • Provide the non-refundable application fee of $150.
  • Provide the minimum refundable down payment fee of $1,000 to hold your seat.
  • Proof of High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Foreign country high school diploma or higher college degree (must be in English or translated into English).

In Florida:

  • Workers on average earn $36,810.
  • 10% of workers earn $30,110 or less.
  • 10% of workers earn $46,810 or more.

In the United States:

  • Workers on average earn $37,790.
  • 10% of workers earn $29,640 or less.
  • 10% of workers earn $50,640 or more.
