PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This course (which features an in-depth review of the National Council of State Board of Nursing current NCLEX test plan for both RN & LPN candidates) is designed to help you pass the NextGenNCLEX.

Program Objectives:

Upon completion, the student should be ready to take the NCLEX and be able to function as providers of care, as coordinators of care, and as members within the discipline of nursing as they:

  • Integrate the nursing process as a framework for the coordination of care of clients and families. 
  • The student will be able to monitor the client and family, collect the data, form a nursing diagnosis, 
  • Participate/contribute to the nursing plan of care with goals and outcome criteria. 
  • Apply organizational and interpersonal communication strategies in coordinating/managing the care of clients, families, and other health care workers. This includes effectively reporting and recording patient assessment information and plan of care and integrating teaching and learning strategies for client and family education. 
  • Integrate cultural, spiritual, psychological, and developmental influences when managing client care. 
  • Integrate the principals of pharmacology safely and competently when providing client care. This includes being knowledgeable of actions, side effects, doses, and precautions of commonly prescribed medications as well as safe administration of oral, parenteral, and intravenous medications. 
  • Integrate the principles of safety when providing care to clients and families. 
  • Incorporate the principles of nutrition for maintaining optimal healthcare for clients and families. 
  • Value legal, ethical, and professional parameters when managing client care. 

This comprehensive review covers subjects such as:

  • Medical-Surgical Nursing 
  • Pharmacology 
  • Maternal-Newborn 
  • Pediatrics 
  • Psychiatric 
  • Test-taking strategies 
  • Practice exams and quizzes
  • An assessment NCLEX exam
  • Three Computer Adaptive NCLEX Simulation exams, identical to the real NCLEX
  • Final (comprehensive) exam 

Methodology

  • Live or online Lectures/Videos & Assigned Readings
  • Three Computer Adaptive NCLEX Simulation exams (very close to the actual NCLEX exam)
  • Exams, quizzes, and NCLEX practice questions

Didactic

  • The didactic will be evaluated on the unit/subject quizzes/exams of each module/subject and the 3 Computer Adaptive NCLEX Simulation exams. The whole course (including the exams/quizzes) must be completed within 90-180 days of the student’s start date, which begins when logging in and password is received. We highly recommend that you pass each subject exam/quiz and at least one of the 3 Computer Adaptive NCLEX Simulation exams with a minimum score of 80%. If a student does not complete the course within 90-180 days, he/she will be eligible to continue the course (new fee charged) for another 30-60 days (fee charge).  

 

  • NOTE: 99% of all students who pass one of the Computer Adaptive NCLEX Simulation exams with a minimum score of 80% go on to pass the NCLEX board exam on their first try. This is because the Computer Adaptive NCLEX Simulation exam is custom-designed by software engineers that use the same adaptive algorithms used in the actual NCLEX exam.

If you pass the final (comprehensive exam) with a minimum score of 80%, the quizzes/exams (in Fundamentals, Women’s Health and Labor & Delivery, Mental Health, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pediatrics, and Human Growth & Development) with an 80% average, and at least one of the 3 Computer Adaptive NCLEX Simulation exams, and you don’t pass your NCLEX Exam, we’ll give you a full refund, no questions asked.

Expectations

The student is expected to attend and/or complete all didactic sessions.

Clinical

  • Clinical is not a requirement for this course, but it’s highly recommended.
