NCLEX Review Course
Approved Remedial Course by Florida Board of Nursing
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This course is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and is designed to prepare nurses for licensure as Licensed Nurses. It is a comprehensive program, lasting three to six (3–6) months, that meets all the requirements set by the Florida Board of Nursing and is specifically designed to help you succeed in passing the NextGen NCLEX.
Upon enrollment, students must complete a mandatory Entrance Assessment Exam, which serves as a baseline evaluation of their knowledge before beginning the course. The program includes online theoretical content aimed at refreshing and expanding nursing knowledge, and may also feature online clinical simulations that offer virtual patient experiences. These simulations are designed to help prepare students for the required external clinical component, mandatory for all remedial students.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will fulfill the Florida Board of Nursing’s remediation requirements.
Program Objectives:
Upon completion, the student should be ready to take the NCLEX and be able to function as providers of care, as coordinators of care, and as members within the discipline of nursing as they:
- Integrate the nursing process as a framework for the coordination of care of patients.
- Will be able to collect the data, form a nursing diagnosis, and monitor their patients.
- Participate/contribute to the nursing plan of care with goals and outcome criteria.
